Imperial Express operates on a Bed & Breakfast model. Meals outside breakfast, guests can order from delivery menus available at reception, sourced from partner outlets. For room service or at the Mezzanine Restaurant. Menus are also available in rooms.

1. Central, airport-connected location: in Kisumu’s CBD on Oginga Odinga Road, opposite Bankers Square, roughly 15 minutes from Kisumu International Airport, with organised transfers.
2. Inherited expertise, new-build comfort: more than 30 years of hospitality experience carried through its partner hotel, delivered through a newly designed, contemporary 55-room property.
3. Accessibility built in: a dedicated disability room with wheelchair space and adapted bathroom fittings, not an afterthought.
4. Check-in time: check-in is 15:00. If you expect to arrive earlier, room access is guaranteed only by reserving an additional night before the arrival date.
5. Check-out time: check-out is 10:00. Late check-outs must be requested at least one night prior and depend on availability. A late departure fee of 50% applies up to 18:00; a full overnight rate applies after that.
6. Cancellation: reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of one night per room plus tax. A no-show is charged the full stay.
